Quite a heavy frost this morning, a bit nippy on my bike but lovely as the sun came out. Wonderful frozen water drops shining and frosty lichen in the hedgerow  caught my attention.

'Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. ... Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!'

    Bob Marley

I am a CFS/Fibromyalgia sufferer and I get unduly tired and I hurt.

If I do too much I get wired and that is a horrendous state to be in, with intense pain flares and mental playbacks until it finally settles down, leaving you exhausted for days afterwards.

I am mostly safe from this in my home and garden in a steady routine but I want to get out more and to this end I've bought a Nottingham City Transport Travel Pass, a lightweight electric bike, and an e-foldi mobility scooter.**

This blog is about my travels. Short journeys, probably, for most people but big adventures for me.

    * this is my personal experience not a recommendation.

** I can usually walk well and easily when pottering about but if I walk far or more frequently my joints become swollen and painful.
